Wendy Davis, Texas state Senator, have started to tell highly significant Democrats that she intends to run for Governor of the great state of Texas. This is the first open-seat governor’s race in Texas since 1990.

 

Wendy Davis, Fort Worth legislator was thrown onto the national scene back in June when she filibustered the new regulations on abortion clinics. But Gov. Rick Perry called for a special session and the Republicans untimely passed the regulations.

 

Wendy Davis’ consultant Hector Nieto said, “Sen. Davis has decided what she will do and she looks forward to making that announcement with her grass-roots supporters on October 3.”

 

Greg Abbott, Republican state Attorney General, the predicted GOP gubernatorial nominee is leading Wendy Davis in the early polling. It will cost Wendy Davis in excess of 30 million for her campaign, which is why she has been doing speeches in places such as New York, San Francisco, etc.
